HCQ works when used with Zinc. Zinc is a powerful antibacterial and antiviral substance, however it cannot alone get into the body's cells. It needs an ionophore to be taken together with it, which is exactly what HCQ is. Another ionophore is quercetine. It's an extract from a Japanese flower (usually) and will also allow intracellular penetration of Zinc. It's also available as a supplement without an Rx. Get it while you can! The above is not medical advice.. just sharing what a little birdie told me.

I am mid 40s and take 1 Quercetin/Zinc pill a day as a immunity booster. I woke up one day with no sickness symptoms, but couldn't smell or taste. I started taking about 10 pills a day with frequent small meals. My smell/taste was back in about 48 hours. I never had any sickness except maybe an on-and-off-again 2-3 (on a 1-10 pain scale) headache.
The WARNING I do want to point out. I usually have normal BP. My wife found out I was megadosing on zinc and checked online for side effects. She saw high BP was a concern. I took my BP, and indeed, it was about 150/100.
I went back to 1/day and the BP was back down to 130/90 in 24hrs and back to 120/80 in 48hrs.
TL:DR Quercetin and Zinc definitely works, but monitor your BP!
