Am I missing it, or is something missing?

In the intensive, overpowering preparations in DC, I have not seen any sonic or microwave area denial weapons deployed. Would that not be the 21st century version of fire hoses in a massive crowd control operation?

You will not see them until/unless they deploy for immediate use.

POTUS has indicated before that those devices are available for very quick use if perimeters are breached or in danger of being breached.
