I get what you're saying and have seen it at play within Trump supporters as a whole. I've never seen it articulated, but you put into words what I've noticed. Whether it's intentional or not, I'm not sure, I think some of it plays to people's biases and how much they care about public perception.
We all follow Q and believe there's a plan. We're also all anonymous (I assume). People at Quod Verum for instance, some are anonymous, some not. People like Wictor and others know there's a plan, but won't outright say so and look down on Q followers from their intellectual high horse. I even see it in blue check mark people on our side. Despite proclaiming otherwise, they do care about how they are perceived publicly, and for professional reasons, I understand. They notice things and point them out, but can't bring themselves to wonder how or why. Everybody is on the same side and playing their part in disseminating info about the plan, it's just how much you admit it.
It's interesting to view the troop build up in D.C. through this perspective.
