Well, from observation, I think the unfortunate side effect is that all the slightly unhinged types took it the wrong way, and wound up being ammo for the disprove Q crowd who write ludicrous, unresearched articles calling anyone that has followed and researched this stuff a qanon cultist.

I think the best case scenario would have been to not address the question. But then again, there is the disinfo angle. Not saying you were wrong however.
