Sorry frens, this isn’t Q-related directly, but I need help figuring out how to properly format text when posting to these forums.

I looked around and do not see any sort of a “help / FAQ” so if I missed it, my apologies & please give me a link.

That said;

I can’t figure out how to format text so that it cleanly displays on this board.

I’ve figured out various formatting like >>> these for quotes

Quotes

Varying numbers of asterisks for italics, bold, bold italics.

Hashtag for bold + larger font.

But the spacing in particular is what really confuses me.

That’s why if you see posts of mine that have random characters like :::::: or whatever, its to try to separate blocks of text.

What’s the best way to format text with clean line & paragraph breaks & such?

I’m OCD about making my text as easy to read as possible with proper spacing, bullet points & such so I never post a “wall of text”

What’s the trick?
