I'm of the belief that if a Leftist actually understood a conservative, there's a pretty good chance that alone would red pill them. By that logic, very few Leftists can actually understand conservatives.
There is a caveat to the statement, in that it would perhaps only partially red pill said people. They may still hold some "left wing" values (for example, see James Lindsay, who fights to conserve freedom, but, claims to hold many "left wing" values). Such people nonetheless would be anti-Left.
Dennis Pager often says, "the right understands the left, but, the left doesn't understand the right". To which he sometimes follows up with "which is a big part of why it is so easy to defeat them in a debate, they don't know our arguments and so cannot counter them easily ... whereas we are bombarded by Leftist arguments all the time".
