Does anyone know that Constitution of the Confederate States outlawed the importation of slaves from foreign nations? You were probably never taught THAT in school. I know that I wasn't. Check it out. Even WickedPedia has it correct.
What was the first thing that some "civilized" countries of Europe did when they started working to end slavery? They outlawed the slave trade. Think about it.
Remember, the South did NOT invade the North and start the war. The North invaded the South as one of the first 'false flag' operations in our nation's history. Why did Lincoln send an invasion force of 13 fully armed warships, and one single lonely "supply" ship (full of ammo, gunpowder, armaments and implements of war - and not much food/water....) down to Ft Sumter? Do some reading on the ACTUAL events surrounding the events at Ft Sumter and that "first shot" that started the War of Northern (Cabal) Aggression - and you might just get a completely different take on what happened and how & WHY it REALLY started.
Why were most of the slaving ships registered out of northern ports? What is the meaning of pineapples on the posts of fences up in the north and in the south?
Was Lincoln owned by the northern industrialists & shipping magnates who wanted him to invade the South so that slavery could be continued because they were making so much $ off of the slave trade themselves - as well as from the cotton they produced & exported? Was the North making much more from cotton on the Export Duties the plantation owners had to pay than the plantation owners making themselves? Why did the southern states REALLY secede?
Questions you might want to investigate from actual sources - not from the history books of the last 20-40 years.
