This, I like hitting my shots lol. Giggle switch is still fun at a range (well...used to be before ammo dried up–alas I must pay rent)!
the only time i ever enjoyed full auto was when i carried the beautiful SAW, then the magnificent PIG in 1st Ranger Battalion. they both came equipped with unlimited ammo. damn i miss those girls so much!
RLTW! Fellow 1st batt saw gunner.
i was Bravo Co. you?
Aco. We got to drive around occasionally.
That's awesome!
I was in the Canadian Forces back in the stone age when we carried real rifles... FNC1s (FAL).
I would convert all of our rifles to fully automatic with a bent paper match in the sear... our ambushes were epic!

damn, the FAL? we never had any of those, ever.
It is a damn fine battle rifle... loved it!
With 18 year old eyes, I was able to get 6 inch groups at 300 yards (no scope)... can't do that these days.
The US had (still have) the M14 which is almost as nice (I have an M1a... love it as well!).
I met a guy who used to be a cop in Mexico: he carried one... he said there wasn't much short of an engine block which would give you cover.
