10h · Remember that time POTUS entertained us with that opera song at the WH?
It’s from the end of the movie "The Sum of All Fears”.
During that part special ops guys are taking out the cabal. Song is called “Nessum Dorma”, No One Sleeps” and “Vincero” means “I shall win”.

Just a little correction, Vincero' doesn't mean i shall win, but it means 'I WILL WIN' ;)
Thanks! I'll let the Outlaw know;)
Do shall and will mean different things?
I read that and I still don't get it. As soon as you start with the past present participle stuff my brain tunes out.
Without going into all of that, “shall” depicts intention and “will” depicts action. But I guess that also ties in to the intricacies of the English language and how it is applied
Correct?
If I remember correctly Gandalf's famous line was "You shall not pass!" in the movie, but seems it was "You will not pass!" in the book version.
Yep, two different modal verbs, specially in this case, if you translate from Italian, as it's future you will get from a translator the same result, but, from a mother tongue, i show you the difference literally :
