I personally feel like this post is meant for the end when there is an actual complete blackout, but looks like Q already said his goodbyes in advance. Hit me in the feels. I thought there would be a goodbye or some big announcement of who Q actually was but that’s more just my imagination going wild. We are never going to know who Q actually was. And our lives will continue and improve, and we will continue to grow and learn and make this a more perfect union.

Observation tower, for the inaugural parade. It gets put up every four years. Multiple levels, so VIP's can watch the new President drive past before turning down the WH driveway, then they can still watch him get out of the beast and go into the WH.
Even if there is a truncated parade, it will still drive past this tower and into the WH driveway.
If there is no parade, then lulz.

The White House is not illuminated from the outside. There are no exterior lights. Some windows have dim lamplight, but it looks like lights out on purpose.

My comment was a reply to the deleted comment above. Can't remember exactly what the deleted comment said, but my reply was intended to to point out that the WH was not CURRENTLY illuminated on the outside. The picture you posted is normal, and I was saying that those lights were not on when I commented.
