1 October 2020 was the day that President Trump went into quarantine for 10 days for Covid. The report was he had been exposed earlier that afternoon by one of the staff (2105 Universal Time would have been 1715 Washington time).
It could also have been the time by which the President released his prerecorded video for the Al Smith Dinner which was "virtual" last year but still broadcast live.
It was announced Monday, 28 September, it would not be held on its usual date (third Thursday in October), that it would be held virtually (prerecorded speeches from the president and Joe Biden) and broadcast live (the hosts anyway) at 1900 on 1 October 2020 (and was).
Pretty creepy affair, even by today's standards. If you have not seen it, you must. It is a significant part of the movie puzzle we are all watching.
