I'm not saying it's related to any of this, but this one is a bit unusual, we don't usually have this many ships to the point of overflowing where they can stay.

Its fine, I was going to comment on the quality of the photo, then I was like wait: that looks like a cam shot and not a photo.
Its not unusual to see many ships, especially outside the port in Long Beach/LA. The screenshot didn't help, but the article does. Most of those cargo containers come from China, and they usually build up in December/January to get ahead of TET, where China pretty shuts down for two weeks. But if they are just SITTING there for days/weeks... that is the port is pretty good about good of clearing out those cargo containers promptly.
This is a good find. I'll put it in the smells off, but it not necessarily be related to the happenings.
