This. How many times have we seen a movie or speech that started this way?

2
GreatFunana 2 points ago +2 / -0

Nope. Bait and switch would be a total fail, and ruin trust in Tucker's brand regardless of the truth bombs dropped.

This. This is a win for television and the news cycle. Trump has to pay out big on the rape case he was found guilty of!

It goes to appeal, where the specious requirements to get a conviction are challenged, and she will lose. Much like the Stormy case, they will downplay the loss so peeps only remember "Trump was convicted of rape" and not that the case was absolutely thrown out because it wasn't a criminal case, just a lawsuit.

Love the left narrative: "The republicans are refusing finally signing a bill that will fix the border issue!" Oh, a. fix that will allow for 5k crossings a day, allow for more than 1.5 million illegal migrations a year?

Nah: making Biden look like an idiot either way is the correct way to go.

I love to see that happen. I'm pretty sure the inhabitants of those homes won't just up and leave.

I said this very thing. Ultimately, the federal government and its skirting of its own rules because "fuck you" has finally caught up with itself. Now, you are seeing the states, tired of dealing with a federal government, saying "fuck you" back.

We are watching the federal government lose all power in real time. Its great to watch.

Shit: we need a distraction! Indict that actor! No he won't be charged guilty, but people will have their eyes glued to the television!

Its worse. The migrants who died died LONG before Texas seized control of the area from US Border Patrol:

https://nypost.com/2024/01/16/news/biden-admin-admits-migrant-drownings-occurred-before-border-patrol-alerted-texas-officials/

What is Biden going to do? Get military to get the military? How is it going to look when US soldiers are gunned down by US soldiers? That is the start of a civil war.

This movie will never be made. They name a lot of people involved, but it will never be funded.

Keep in mind Rian Johnson's trilogy was also greenlit, along with the trilogy for the two writers of Game of Thrones. All named and contracted, never a penny spent.

Honestly I don't care much either. I know the history. I also understand how markets work. If they sell, they sell. If not, Lowes will stop stocking them.

I have a former childhood friend that visited. He isn't a friend now just to be clear. But he visited my family where I lived anyways.

He got into drugs, and basically became a piece of shit. From intelligent computer engineer, to homeless. Now he is back home at age 43, living with his parents. He was trying to argue to me that life was getting better and he had plans to start a handyman business. But first he needed to get a dirt bike.

I was like what? I tried to explain to him that if you are successful, guess what? Life is boring, and you search for contentment, not excitement. Being satisfied with where you are now, but always looking to the future. My life would be boring to some for the most part, but I am able to take my wife and kids on two vacations a year (recently I paid for the grandparents to come on one of those vacations to enjoy their grand kids). I have some hobbies, and I am content with where I am, in a stable home situation.

Going to be real: the hardest thing to do in life is get up in the morning, go to work, come home, and do it again the next day knowing what is coming, and knowing that if you fail, other people suffer.

It doesn't matter. The candidate has to be Biden. Having Biden drop out is an admission of failure on the Democrats half. Moderates will not vote for another Democrat knowing the state of the country and full well knowing the guy they primaried previously (and won) was a complete failure.

They have to stay the course.

I restated my willingness to continue working across the aisle after Republicans won the majority in the House last year.

Lie.

By the same token, the American people have made clear that they expect House Republicans to work with me and with Senate Democrats to govern across the aisle.

Work with me to put in legislation and votes that only benefit one side: the neo-cons. Most Americans, I'd say 90%, just want a safe neighborhood, a balanced budget, and no more wars. Not what you want Biden.

I don't like the title of this. There wasn't chaos. Chaos depicts uncertainty and lack of control over what was going on in the house. That wasn't what was going on.

This was a pitched fight between america-first and the swamp. It was a concerted effort to get either a RINO, or towards the end McCarthy back into the speaker's chair by the swamp, versus a candidate that supports American ideals and the voters that voted them in.

The swamp lost today. This was no more chaotic than a chess match.

There are multiple posts about him. At least for me: he is against sending buckets of cash to Ukraine. He also voted not to certify the Biden win so there is that.

Oh you bet they are. They are screaming that he more far right than any other candidate. Twitter is a gold mine of salt right now.

This. They have basically 3 generations of woke idiots and it only cost them a few billion and destruction of pretty much evey masculine hero and heroic franchise.

Our young men no longer have heroes or myths to aspire to.

We all need to do this. To every business that tries to force masks. Their moral grandstanding will not outweigh their pocketbook.

I agree. But he has to play that algorithm game to both stay relevant and to make sure it reaches the maximum eyeballs. So i'll allow it. Besides, it only took 7 minutes.

The rules of the uniparty, not the rules of actual rules of the government. They have their own ruleset and it was the rules of the game in Congress. They never thought McCarthy would get removed, but he did. Now they see their system disintegrating and they are freaking out,

OP here:

They essentially held a private Zoom call for "holdouts". What is being intimated here is that No Labels is donating to campaigns and hold outs in exchange for votes via the zoom call.

My speculation: Don Bacon's rush to a second vote is because he actually got enough RINOs to sign off to get Jefferies into the Speaker of the House. The "insurrection" was a blessing in disguise: it stopped a second vote from happening.

Don Bacon is currently getting shredded for this, trying to deflect by saying people texted his wife threatening him, telling him if he doesn't fall in line with the Patriots he will be done in Washington and primaried out.

The times we live in.

TBH, I think that was in the cards. The ring linger of all of this was Rep Don Bacon, and he got found out via leaked e-mail today:

https://twitter.com/DC_Draino/status/1714034734089580934

The way he was pushing for a second vote I believe he had the votes to get Jefferies in. The "insurrection" was actually a blessing in disguise, it stopped a second vote and exposed Don Bacon for being the ring leader, along with that group No Labels.

This.

Look at the state of the world. It looks like Biden just put us in WW3. We have Taliban walking open in American streets. We have an open border that is out of control. Crime and depravity is increasing.

All of it a smokescreen, to keep the uni-party alive. To keep the warmongers paid.

Trump gave us 4 years of relative peace. Peace is bad for business. Jim Jordan leads us to another Trump presidency, and they can't have that.
