What's the process Heels Up needs to do to step down from the Senate? Could she phone it in or does the Senate have to be in session or something for her to do it? When's the cut off on the 20th?

Lets say it's 11am on the 20th and she hasnt done it yet. What would that mean? Could she step down just a few minutes before inauguration?

My guess would be that she'll send a letter (email ?) to either the Senate President (Pence), Pres ProTempore (Grassly), Majority Leader (Mitch), or Minority Leader (Chuckles (her "boss")).

In all likelihood, it would probably be to all four.

I heard that she is on her knees begging for more time. She is having a really HARD time as everyone is pounding her from both sides for a decision. I am sure that she will cum to the right decision and spit out her decision.

I believe she just submits a formal, written resignation and no, the senate doesn't have to be in session. The Senate doesn't reconvene until tomorrow. So I guess we'll all see what she does here today, but the day is still young.
