That's a very good question. I'm not going to say that General Counsel (Top Attorney) for the NSA is a meaningless job, but it's not like a SCOTUS justice, Attorney General, SECDEF, etc

It's not - IMHO - a super critical post.

HOWEVER...... if you are worried about what the NSA might do to YOU or your CONSPIRATORS.....like, say......release indisputable PROOF that you sold your soul and country to communist china.....

THEN it makes a lot more sense why she'd oppose it.

Also; what does the law say; wouldn't this be easy for xiden to un-do on his first day?
