Its max public posted speed is 523 knots. This thing is way faster than that right now. Public info is probably low intentionally, though, to not divulge real capability. In mph, though, 630 knots is almost 725 mph. That's crazy fast.

How do you know the EAM was from that jet?
Because that's what that plane does.. it coordinates global communications during the Continuation of Government plan..
Sorry, question wasn't clear. EAMs ware HF and the E-6B also sends EAMs in the same manner. I was wondering how you differentiated the source of the EAM to be from the E-4B from the thread.

E-4B and E-6B jets are often called that because they carry battle staff and are airborne command posts. E-6B doesn't always carry battle staff, though, but I think E-4B always does.
