As a Falun Gong practitioner myself (well kind of, I practice it on and off and I’ve read the main teachings, the book „Zhuan Falun“ a few times), I object to the „cult“ label. Labeling FG as a „cult“ is a CCP tactic to rile the people up against others so the persecution can be „justified“.
FG is a spiritual practice teaching people to align their lives with Truthfulnes, Compassion and Tolerance without a fixed, hierarchic structure and each and every practitioner is free to practice it - or not.
Just wanted to point that out, as the labeling of a group as „XXX“ is a key tactic of the CCP (and the DNC, btw) to have free hand in de-humanizing and persecuting that group.

I did a deep dive on the Falun Gong a few weeks ago when I saw trump posted a video by a suspicious, bearded fellow wearing glasses talking about the ccp. Turns out he was not only a writer for the epoch times but also a practitioner of FG. In my research I learned of their persecution and the horrors they were submitted to under ccp rule and just thought people would find it interesting there are others outside of trumps team who are also fighting for this noble cause. In my search I could not find any negative information regarding the FG, other than they have been through hell and back.
Anyways, times are changing and I feel it is necessary if we are to move on as human beings that we aren't quick to fight but look inwardly if there is wrong doing and quicken ourselves to mending bridges. Looking at my original comment, I totally felt horrible about use of the word "cult" which has many negative connotations associated with it. And your welcome friend! We are on the verge of walking into a bright new future, the work begins with us.
