I live very close to 2 decommissioned AFBs. They are still completely active for NG, training, Coast Guard, and many private businesses & operations, including private aviation.

I'm a bit of a planefag, so I pay attention to everything that passes overhead.

We are also in the flight paths of these bases.

For whatever the fuck it's worth, these past few months I've seen drastically increased activity out of both of them.

Air Traffic isn't insanely heavy to begin with, but still.....
