What I think could happen is all the networks largely ignore anything happening in DC and with military intervention, they black it out.

They show Joe Biden getting inaugurated, while these Emergency broadcasts are going off on peoples phones. The news and DS will just say ignore them, Biden is president......

..... mass panic and chaos ensues thank to the media.
