We had same in NE Indiana... alert for a shooting. Coworkers and myself have never heard of the city/state sending an alert for a shooting suspect. It wasn’t “active shooter at x location” it was just the name of the guy and saying he’s wanted for a recent shooting.
Kinda weird. Made weirder by rest of you. What time frame was it for everyone? I believe ours was around 11am if I recall
Testing the system?
They have a test message.
Remember when hawaii sent out the nuke emergency instead of the test alarm. Twice!
Wasn't there an Argentinian sub that went missing at the time of that "accidental" alert?
Possibly ?
Weirdest part is I’m on T-Mobile and didn’t get a message, my coworker (who is one of “us”) got the alert on his iPhone (6 or 7, older model) and it isnt linked to a phone service, has no SIM card or cell service, just on WiFi at work and his WiFi when at home, no google voice number or anything.
