What does it mean when you "sticky" something. Haven't been here long..
Mods "sticky" a noteworthy or unusually important post, a red box goes around it and its "stickied" near the top of the page.
Oh...ok...I got that this morning....I wondered how it got in that pretty red box!
Hahaha...ok, kinda sorry I asked. Somebody stickied a post I had this morning and I thought it was like a bookmark (stickie note?) ...???♀️

lol, it's when the post gets "stickied" to the top of the front page by one of the mods. It's a way of increasing the visibility of significant news, it prevents it from getting lost in the noise since it's stickied to the top.
As for somebody stickying your post: only a mod can sticky a post since it locks it to the top of the front page for everybody. So while it's possible that your post might have been stickied, it also could be that you were seeing some people saying that it should get stickied, like when they say "sticky this!" they are trying to get the attention of some mods to consider stickying the post.
