I can’t for the life of me, guess why the fed prisons are on full lockdown. That combined with the extremely excessive troop activity in DC...
To “secure DC”, all they had to do was setup the barricades and block entry to anywhere close to the capital, that could have been done with the 3000 NG and cops already there, along with contractors who they’ve already hired.. but instead they call together 26k additional NG..
If it’s a virtual inauguration that they don’t want people to attend.. that makes it pretty clear that anyone that shows up is a rioter or trouble maker.. so easily suppress-able (clear target)
Their actions are deeply puzzling if you look at it from the perspective of Biden being inaugurated..
From a logical perspective, there’s only a couple of reasonable reasons for this:

massive protests and riots will form to stop inauguration (no evidence that this will happen, actually more evidence to the contrary if anything)

Trump wants to send a big F U as he leaves office by making Biden’s inauguration the most ghastly, authoritarian display seen in American history.. which I wouldn’t understand why Trump would care about optics if he’s done and leaving.

massive attack from foreign agency (I have no intel to form an opinion on this one)

Trump will be on AF1 when some operation commences to arrest many of the corrupt people that reside in DC... by showing up, they have clearly stated their intent to finish this coup of the American people by claiming power on false pretenses. Checkpoints are already setup so no criminal can escape.
What do you make of these?

Locking down prisons <-- swamp cant release a prison rat and pay them for a false flag
locking down DC <--- swamp cant stage a false flag like killing biden etc without looking foolish
or we are already at war and we dont know?

To your first point about federal pen lockdowns, that's pretty straightforward. Every federal prison has a highly trained riot control team. If you're worried about riots in D.C., that's a great resource. We've been told that those teams are in Washington now.
If your riot control team is away, the last thing you need in a prison is a riot. So, lockdowns.
All I know is while Q was silent for so long now the media rampage and public knowledge has shot up ugely.

good logical path. I am anxious, hoping biden doesn't get inaugurated, but preparing for that not to be the case. The actions and speech of the left and deep state signify something is happening. Why would Mitch be poking at Trump for starting the "riot" in DC if it was over? Wouldn't Mitch want a chance to bring together R's, he doesn't seem interested in that, why?

My thinking for Prison lockdown is they have traitors already and they are singing more than no name. Patriots don’t want these ppl broken out/killed before the trials begin.
