I have seen this a lot w/ regards to the IA and it being stripped...this is just a question, but is that even valid?? Just bc it was in some recent bill that now IA powers enumerated to POTUS are just gone? Obviously we don't have a legitimate SC so who knows if it's constitutional or if that would even matter, but I do not think it's as open and shut as you say.
