Looking at the second paragraph of Mike's notes they seem to be fully in-line with what is happening with Pompeo's twitter today
Is it just me or do the two lines above the selected section say "insurrection act" and "martial law"?
Stop right there. IA can ONLY be invoked via Commiegress approval, per recent Military Budget Bill (vetoed and overturned). So, anything with IA is fake. Not saying this could not be some part of the plan to "calm down" the DS. But anyone should stop thinking of IA as part of the plan UNLESS we have the Commiegress somehow on our side.
I have seen this a lot w/ regards to the IA and it being stripped...this is just a question, but is that even valid?? Just bc it was in some recent bill that now IA powers enumerated to POTUS are just gone? Obviously we don't have a legitimate SC so who knows if it's constitutional or if that would even matter, but I do not think it's as open and shut as you say.
Congress can't remove enumerated powers with a simple bill.
