I don't know if he knew anything specific, but if you're getting close to an operation, it's likely someone will come knocking.

It's not about what he may KNOW, but the very fact he was told to basically stop all reports is very telling.

Not 100% I think hes former air force and just likes tracking the sky's but his background gives him s solid perspective on aircraft trends and movements.
