So if this goes into effect today the 19th then why would POTUS MAKE another exec order when he knows that BLIDEN is going to undo everything or try to undo all that our great President has done. Making another exec order when he’s leaving office in less than 24 hours?
I thought SCOTUS ruled EO’s can’t be overturned with a another EO in the DACA case?
"Blocking the Property of Certain Persons Engaging in Significant Malicious Cyber-Enabled Activities"
Yes. That is not insignificant.
And they know it.
?
This is a biggie
Care to explain?
So bar all our focus in BigTehc has been about social media platforms and free speech. This covers companies like Twitter, Facebook etc but there is another part of BigTech which people have largely ignored - this is the backend of the BigTech. The part where they provide hosting services and cloud services.
Companies like Amazon, who can pull the rug under any company (as shown with Parler) and destroy even a potentially billion dollar company just like that.
Think of constant confidential data leakages. Credit card companies, VPN companies, social media companies, getting "hacked" and losing data of millions of people. A lot of these companies are actually selling the data and saying its a "hack".
This EO tightens this and a lot more ways in which BigTech can use their hosting and cloud provider platforms to undermine the security of the nation and the people.
I am not a lawyer, but I am assuming this EO has been designed to give Trump the fangs to go after Amazon and such.
