Found this on "Flyer Talk", "As a former pilot, it's been my experience that these "white colored" aircraft are usually recently sold or leased airplanes that have been removed from service by their previous owner, then sold or leased to the present Operator who hasn't yet had the aircraft painted." Other comments state that only planes flown out of commercial airports require a tail number. One comment stated that the CIA will use planes with no tail id, making it easier for them to sneak in and out of countries...I found this statement mildly interesting....

My boss owns two "white color" aircraft, he's had them for decades. Most private jets are white
