Everyone here is just acting like its another normal day and have been since election day. Like sheep who just accept whatever outcome the media tells them. I work in oil and gas in Texas so its not like I am in a blue state or industry. I just cannot fathom how asleep some people are. I am here physically but my mind definitely is not. All I want to do is be at home with my monitors open and searching frantically for news and knowing if it hits the fan that I have everything I need right there. Maybe I should go home just in case. Last thing I want to do is try to drive 45 min if "chaos" does break out today.

Also in Texas. My husband already decided he's calling in sick today. He's still asleep. I've been up all night. I'm too anxious/excited to sleep. I'll sleep when this is over hahaha
I already called in sick the day after the 6th because I stayed up all night looking at the boards :/
Oh darn! Well, since you're already there, maybe you should stick it out.
I don't forsee things getting bad in Texas as a whole. Hubby works in a big city which is the main reason he wanted to opt out.... plus this has been super stressful, so he honestly does feel a little sick about the whole thing. Just the not knowing, you know? He likes to be in control, so this is tough on him.
Yeah... Same here though... I work in the biggest city in Tx so if it gets crazy it could be problematic getting home. I will duck out if it looks like shit is going down lol
That's a good plan lol
Play it by ear haha
I canceled home school today - I can’t even focus on that!
