So what was the deal with having 30,000+ troops in DC?

We all know the "Capitol" incident was mostly fake/ a false flag. So now that the deed is done, what was the whole point of turning DC into a fortress? Seems like a waste of time and effort for nothing...

FEMA took charge when the state of emergency was declared, which isn't over in DC until the 24th. Go see how FEMA lines up with the rest of the military right now.
