I enjoy watching Trump speak. I don't think he's the best orator, but he commands the crowd and exudes confidence. At first I couldn't figure him out, but after watching him over the years, he truly believes in what he's saying. He engages the crowd with his body language, presenting straight to them, usually with open arms (on the podium or outstretched to make a funny comment), which make the audience feel comfortable in his presence. But you can also tell when he does his fake smiles when he's under duress (like the last few rallies he gave as it got closer to him leaving the WH). Only his mouth moves, not his eyes or the rest of his face. I'll be honest, it pained me to see him do that. He looked defeated...but maybe that was the goal. Trump is even more interesting to watch when he's having unfriendly dealings. He says so much with just his body language and positioning, it's bad ass. And Jr. definitely has his father's body language skills, too.
Check out a channel on YT called "Body Language Ghost". She's excellent, covers Barry, Hunter, Flynn, and many others. See what you can start to pick up. A book called "Louder Than Words" by Joe Navarro is also a great starting point.
Can you please comment on the body language you've seen from Trump, his family and administration?
It's awesome to get actual experts on here!
:-)
