So today, I went down to the Iwo Jima Memorial with binoculars to watch the capitol building. I could make out the flags and a crowd on the podium but nothing else. A few odd things.
When I left the house at 10:30 it was 40 degrees (I always check the temp before leaving) and sunny. There were a few cumulonimbus clouds in the sky but it was sunny and the sky was bright blue and mostly clear. By 11:00 AM the clouds totally covered the sky, and the temperature had dropped to freezing. It began to snow. Hard. By 11:30 the snow was gone and the sky was clear. Snow is very rare in DC. It wasn't forecasted. I've never seen the weather change so quickly. They say the military can control the weather. Just something to think about. What was happening behind the clouds? Made me think of "the storm is upon us."
When I arrived at the park there were a bunch of police officers there on motorcycles. I've never seen anything like it. They left at the same time the snow ended, around 11:30.
By the time the swearing in happened, the sky was totally clear except for some dark clouds behind the capitol. Made me think of "Sunlight is the best disinfectant."
I spent 3 years in the Marine Corps Barracks in DC, I'd say I lived there enough to see snow. Shit, you can look up snowfall reports in the past, and see the average lol
Perhaps this has something to do with the fact that Biden was sworn in at around 11:50am, 10 mins before Trump's term ended. To fit this in with your suggestion, maybe they just released the prerecorded footage too early.

DC averages 16 inches of snow a year bro. Thats not rare.
