Hello, I was browsing these forums and see people who dislike Socialism and Communism, but I was kinda wondering if any of y'all would like to deep dive on the subject and give me reasons you don't like the ideologies? Hoping to have a civil and open discussion, thank you in advance :)
Edit: I'm only human, sorry if it takes a bit for me to respond
In practice they seem synonymous.
Communism has never been fully implemented, so not really
The question is, can it be?
Power corrupts, especially power with no checks or balances.
Communism is all about the elimination of social classes and where all the property is owned by the community. What you're pointing out is Authoritarianism, which can happen on either side of the political spectrum and isn't related to Socialism nor Communism
I understand that, but the average person on the street doesn't.
Plus, what really matters here is what Biden & Co's intentions are. Let's just say I don't think they have true equality for all in mind.
How can you eliminate the social patterns you disapprove of e.g., the human family, without applying totalitarian brutality?
Was killing millions of kulaks part of the road to communism?
Or was that just an unfortunate whoopsie?
