It’s clearly very odd that biden flew private for his “inauguration” and not AF1, is it also odd that trump flew on AF1 to FL after his speech?

The way that I understood it - Biden could NOT fly "AF1" prior to inauguration because he wasn't POTUS. Period. There is nothing else to discuss here.

As to flying that specific plane, I think Trump basically said NO when Biden's team asked for the courtesy flight. I wouldn't have let him on MY plane either.

As for Trump flying to FL, he wanted the use of the AF1 designation one final time (in the eyes of the public) so he left DC early.
