Luckily I have the brains to have never suggested violence as a solution anywhere online(short of the obvious occasional legal self defense comment)...

Seriously, nothing short of encrypted emails can be considered online 'secure', everything else isn't and it is foolish to think it is/act like it is...

Well PGP stands for 'pretty good privacy', not absolute privacy...

What is said where and how is very much a sliding scale to which a certain amount of discernement and nuanced thinking has to be applied......

Unfortunately nuanced thinking isn't exactly something most humans are very capable of...
