It's not called the Military Industrial Complex for nothing. It's always been at the heart of the swamp. Q may have been Military Intelligence, but I don't think they had the full backing of the Pentagon. Remember when that general lied to Trump about Troop levels in Syria (iirc)? He was never punished for that, which indicates to me it was approved by higher ups. I've always assumed the Pentagon was the real power in this country, and the presidency was simply the PR department. After the last week, I'm back to assuming that unfortunately. That's my 2 cents. I could be wrong.
