A little off topic... but does anyone have an answer for why everything has some crazy ass person doing sign language in their videos now? Is this to make fun of us and drive us crazy or is it to distract from the message?... Just seems weird and its EVERYWHERE now

It's a distraction, like how a magician distracts the audience. They now often make the sign language person the same size or even larger than the speaker. See how it's harder to listen to the speaker? Even though close caption has long been available.
Anytime the governors speaks they have. Any important speeches have asl for the deaf so they get the news.
