Biden said Trump was "generous" in his letter to him. I assumed it was the deal that was cut wasn't as severe as it could be. Maybe this lets him save face or something. My noodle is really baked!

that's silly, like everything, don't be a purist. I'm pretty sure there were low-level accomplices got deals. Pretty sure that is for treason and crimes against humanity and not regular flavor crimes.
