I think, in this particular case, it's a matter of perspective

The prompter and podium are closer to the camera than it seems, so in shot one they would be out of frame, in fact I believe you can see part of the podium in shot one, at the bottom right edge

And Kameltoe is considerably farther back than Hunter, hence she would also be out of frame
