I remember when during a few of his rallies last year he said, at the time of course I thought was funny, that because of how poorly treated he was maybe he could negotiate a 3rd term. WOW. If Trump is sworn in in March under the pre 1871 United States he would, as far as the identity of the country (hopefully) would be at that time he would be swearing into a new first term...and then can run again if he wants, so long as he is in good health and sound mind. I think that's how it would possibly work yeah?

I dont think Trump wants to live out most of his final years getting up to be the POTUS everyday. I could be wrong but thats not a fun job. Retirement in FL is the R&R he deserves at the end.
He is a workaholic. People like him are not happy unless they are mired in their passion.
Do you even HAVE children? Have you heard "Cats in the Cradle"? You don't think his family? Children? Grandchildren? Deserve to have him in their life before he dies?
Oh yes, big fan! But he was still surrounded by his family in the White House. Something I have noticed about people that retire. There are two types. One type will become lethargic and depressed and die early. The other type ends up being much busier retired than they were when they were working and live longer.
Retirement and R&R would kill Trump. The man lives to work. He loves working.
He has a quote saying To retire is to expire
