I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff, but the plane is a P-8A and I was watching it because I thought it was a peculiar flight path for a sub hunter. It flew from Florida up to Pennsylvania and the back down to Florida without ever landing or getting near the ocean, and it maintained an altitude of 35000 ft. the whole time. It probably isn't important, I just thought it was interesting. There were like 4 sub hunters flying around down in Florida and people were watching them this morning. Really I only mentioned it because it had the same number in the callsign as the OP 's plane. Probably just coincidence, I just thought it was interesting.
There's something oddly intriguing about watching air traffic... I live by the air force academy so there are planes and jets flying around here all the time. There's also a couple Air Force bases nearby.
IIRC, circles aren't a big deal. Either gaining or losing altitude, or a holding pattern, waiting for a runway to clear.
Clarification?

Good spotting though! ?
I thought of getting into it too, my wife would kill me though, already spend too much time on GAW.
