Good time to get care packages and stuff they may need headed for the troops. The NG in most states isn't taken care of as much as regular army as they don't have the same budget. Would be appreciated and also a good reminder that a majority of Patriots support them and are relying them to do the right thing when the time comes.
Idk. In this charged atmosphere, if I were a NG member, i would be leery of accepting a package (esp if a consumable) sent in by a random person. Maybe someone could give some suggestions of some things that would be acceptable.
I think the best approach is to contact the local NG Unit, see if they are deployed (DC or anywhere) and ask what they might need (if anything). Definitely not home baked goods or anything not packaged. They might need toiletries and stuff like that because many of the local stores in DC are closed. The troops still at the local unit would be able to get any care package items to them on a resupply transport.
