I'm a scientist with a Ph.D who works somewhat in the immunology field, this whole thread is giving me a fucking aneurysm. I'm actually wondering if it's shills trying to make us look like batshit anti-vaccers. There's plenty to be critical of with a poorly tested mRNA vaccine, but if you don't understand the basic biology involved I'd suggest doing some reading before spouting off.
Agreed. Question for you on this subject. I have an older family member in the UK in the high risk category, who is possibly going to get one of the vaccines. They don't know which one until day of the jab. It will be either Pfizer or AstraZeneca. Do you have any advice or insights into the safer option, or if best to wait due to possible priming effects later on? Thank you.
From what I understand they all work in essentially the same way and there's been basically no animal testing, so they all seem equal. Maybe they make slightly different proteins and one of them is less risky but there's no way to know that without data.

Okay thanks.
