I'd rather live in a post-apocalyptic wasteland than a commie authoritarian dystopia.
I'd rather worry about roving gangs of cannibal bandits, than an authoritarian surveillance state that can never be overthrown, and therefore can do whatever they want. At least I'd be free.
Whoever our military sides with will win. If the CCP makes the move to enter the United States en mass, the choice for our military will become an easy one.
For those that don't know about it or understand; rough plot synopsis:
World had nuclear (or something) war and has little to no hope for recovery, just totally dead across the board.
Because basically nothing grows, people scavenge for food, including each other...
Depravity is the rule, not the exception - NOTHING is off limits, and this book doesn't shy away from that. Children are not safe; they're food, or worse.
Throughout this all, one man has been protecting and raising his son to be the "good guys". That's what this book is about - how, even in the literal worst possible world, there can still be the unbreakable bond between father and son.
It's indescribable, and it isn't for everyone, but I think most of the folks around here would or could read it and get a lot out of it.

Omega man Charlton Heston
We are good none of the libs I know are doing anything. They've moved on oblivious as usual.
It's not totally propaganda. If pushed too hard eventually people will rise up, and the other side will rise to defend their dictatorship

And we would be in control
A civil war would eventually lead to millions of Chy-Neez troops.
