I'd rather live in a post-apocalyptic wasteland than a commie authoritarian dystopia.
I'd rather worry about roving gangs of cannibal bandits, than an authoritarian surveillance state that can never be overthrown, and therefore can do whatever they want. At least I'd be free.
Whoever our military sides with will win. If the CCP makes the move to enter the United States en mass, the choice for our military will become an easy one.
And if China was involved with the undermining of our elections via machines, paid off politicians and whatnot and the military doesn't do shit about it, WTF do we even have a military for?
They had to have seen all the fraud playing out in real time. They know where it came from... And they're just gonna sit around and watch their country get taken over... Ironically, because our military is so great...?
These are hardly civil issues for corrupt courts to rule on. Our military is there to protect us from this shit. That's why I believe there is a plan.
For those that don't know about it or understand; rough plot synopsis:
World had nuclear (or something) war and has little to no hope for recovery, just totally dead across the board.
Because basically nothing grows, people scavenge for food, including each other...
Depravity is the rule, not the exception - NOTHING is off limits, and this book doesn't shy away from that. Children are not safe; they're food, or worse.
Throughout this all, one man has been protecting and raising his son to be the "good guys". That's what this book is about - how, even in the literal worst possible world, there can still be the unbreakable bond between father and son.
It's indescribable, and it isn't for everyone, but I think most of the folks around here would or could read it and get a lot out of it.

Perhaps that is why president trump has the football.

If America couldn't win the war against Vietcong because the soliders that look like civs imagine America.
I see you've read The Road too?
Gotta be one of my favorite books.
