I look at VPNs how I look at password managers... it's just a centralized place so if that place gets hacked you're completely fucked instead of just partially
You're not going to get hacked, the OP doesn't understand how hacking works. It's perfectly safe, you could use a VPN to hide your IP if you don't want the government to know you go there. But realisatically, you are one of millions of users. Don't post any bomb threats etc there and you'll be fine.
If it's that dangerous then why is it in the sidebar? What information do they need to 'hack' you? What does it mean to have data showing?
