This is the thing that pisses me off about boards of directors in general. They are leeches that arrived after a company became huge. They didn't do anything for the company's success, and if the company goes under, they will apply for a job somewhere else, but they walk around like they came up with the whole idea and like they are geniuses.

If they say that "Unanue doesn't speak for Goya foods when he speaks on TV", then fucking let him talk on his behalf. So he can have no personal opinion, no political opinion? Fucking shits. Mess with him and you will see the exact opposite of what happened when AOC threatened to boycott. You will have shelves filled to the brim of Goya products and no people interested in buying them. When AOC went after him for his pro-Trump statements and called a boycott, she ended up being given the 'employee of the month' award because she caused sales to skyrocket.

Seems the board needs to be reminded to ignore the pressure from the corrupt establishment if they want their company to thrive.

I kind of agree with their statement. Politics and food don't belong together. I really don't want to know who votes for who. As long as this company doesn't push a woke agenda or start getting a case of the TDS. If they fire him though....I'll probably reconsider buying from them in the future.
