I'm thinking all of us need to shop in groups. If I learned anything from Jan. 6th....they won't try shit if there's enough people ignoring the rules. I wouldn't even worry about the specific material. Teach them to think critically, to never trust authority figures, to verify anything that is told to them. Encourage them to read non-fiction books on communism and facism....or fictional books about dystopian worlds. If you cover that then they will figure everything out on their own. The " traditional conservative" types taught their children to respect authority figures without question....and now we're seeing some of the backlash. I'm shocked at how many "traditional conservatives" bent over for the vaccine just because their doctor, religious leader, etc. said it was ok.
I haven't looked at any of this and assume Newsom won. It's california. The biggest takeaway from the election was that Cali isn't a blue state after all...it's a rigged state. I'm ready for something other than passivity at this point...just waiting for everyone to catch up.

Also, if you are in the financial crunch and see the writing on the wall...start looking for a job...easy to walk away from one thing into another thing right now. Knowing Trudeau what will happen is this.....it will gain a lot of support (for obvious reasons) and then a little bit later any Canadian that isn't vaccinated will be demoted to "foreigner" status and any rich foreigner will be able to fast track their status to become a Canadian citizen. Refugees don't generally own much land property so they will be able to keep them flowing in, and voting, by propping up these rich foreigners as potential to achieve the Canadian dream "if only they keep voting for X ".

None of what has gone on today makes any sense. Lin Wood has posted some things that are a bit out there....but he's right about this. We all wanted the chance to fight and he didn't give us that. It's out of character.
