Just finished The Last President. It was very similar to what we just witnessed with Trump. EERILY SIMILAR!
I'm not a proponent of the Trump time travel idea at all, but it DID read like a cautionary tale for our time.
And the times Q referred to "find the keystone" and "think mirror"... I guess the opposite of key is lock, maybe the opposite of stone is wood? Was Q specifically asking us to read Ingersoll Lockwood's The Last President???
If anyone else has read this book, please comment. It wasn't a warm, fuzzy, feel good book. The ending really bothered me. I'm seriously hoping we get a better ending IRL.
if you consider the EVIL that has infested that building, seeing it go up in a blaze of glory and moving the capital may not be that bad of a story, and if you think of the money comparison, the currency was GOLD backed back then, so moving to a lesser equivalent like silver may also be a comparison to the less then gold value of our currant paper money, all in all, i look at it as a hopeful story that the old corrupt way is about to be destroyed and we are going to build something new from its ashes
