That's how I read it. Trump was going to make everything public during the impeachment trial, when the world was watching live.

And Rand failed us on the 6th. Why would he do the right thing now?

I kinda think he is screwing is now. He is saying dead on arrival so they just dismiss it instead of letting people introduce evidence. Then act like he did it for us.
