As a secondary follow up, I myself am one person. But I am composed of a body, a soul, and a spirit. Water is water. But it can be water, vapour, and ice. It's still water though. God has three components, that make up one being. I dont entirely understand it, but that's what the bible says. "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the father, the son, and the holy spirit, and these three are one."
I feel that the OT is more reliable than the NT, specifically because of the Catholic Church's involvement in compiling and translating the NT. The Jews take seriously the translation and copying of the OT and keep it tight to the breast. I always try to use the OJB.
I don't think that there is a trinity in the OT, I maybe wrong. I thought the trinity was specifically a NT concept.
I had several people explain the Trinity as forms of water. They always conclude with I don't entirely understand it. I don't think many do, specifically designed that way so you don't know what you are worshiping. At the risk of offending you, I have an explanation, The Father is Osiris/Min, The Son is Horus and the Holy Spirit is Repyt/Sekhmet.
The Cult of Min is related to Horus, Osiris and Isis.
Through the rituals in this cult the father's soul can be reborn into his son's body along with Sekhmet the true "devil", a female aka Diti in Hindu texts.
Three spirits in One body.
Isis is Osiris' daughter, sister, and wife. Osiris fathered Isis by his mother Nut.
Min is Osiris after Isis reassembled the 14 parts minus the penis, which was ate by a fish, Isis now becomes Min's mother, Osiris reborn in a corpse.
Are you lost yet? Lots of incest, right, but wait there's more...Min now the son of Isis fathers Horus through his mother Isis and now Osiris is reborn in Horus along with the holy spirit which is Sekhmet.
This is called a a kamutef (the "bull of his mother" - aka father of his own mother as well as her son)
The DS still practices this today (see John Podesta)
This is why the C.C. worships Mary as a God. Mary = Isis , Joseph = Osiris and Jesus = Horus. The true Jesus is in the Gnostic Texts and is why the C.C. exterminated all the Gnostics and demonized them as heretics and child sacrificers. Sound familiar? Its the same tactic the DS uses, Accuse your opponent of the same acts you commit.
I'm not a Catholic. They translate the bible that they use from the Vulgate, which is a manuscript written in Latin. The KJV is translated from the Greek Textus Receptus. The New Testament was written in Greek originally, because that was the main language of the Roman empire at the time. It's a common misconception that most people spoke Latin at the time, but it wasn't common outside of Rome.
The Jews will also tell you that they don't believe the old testament. Call ten Rabbis, from different denominations of Judaism. None of them believe it. They don't even believe the Torah which is the first five books written by Moses. The best I have ever heard from a Jew was that the Old Testament is a good Metaphor.
And if you read the old Testament, the trinity is mentioned several times, and Jesus Christ appears in bodily form several times. The trinity is not only found in the new testament.
Im aware that the NT was originally written in Koine Greek.
Yet Jesus and his Apostles are said to have spoken Aramaic. It seems odd that the original text would not have been written in Jesus' native tongue. It also seems odd that the NT was written, at the earliest, in 52 AD. Twenty years after Jesus died, why wouldn't they write it down immediately if it was Gods word? Moses did. Furthermore, write down a conversation you had with someone 20 years ago, verbatim.
The earliest known complete list of the 27 books of the New Testament is found in a letter written by Athanasius, a 4th-century bishop of Alexandria, dated to 367 AD. (wiki / new testament)
The Nag Hammadi manuscripts date from the 3rd and 4th centuries. James Robinson suggests that these codices may have belonged to a nearby Pachomian monastery and were buried after Saint Athanasius condemned the use of non-canonical books in his Festal Letter of 367 A.D. (wiki / nag hammadi)
Is this a coincidence that earliest verified date for both the New Testament and the Gnostic's Nag Hammadi have the exact same date?
There is a theory that the Flavian Dynasty along with Josephus wrote the NT in 70 AD and back dated the scripture to 1 AD. In a further attempt to stomp out Judaism after the destruction of the temple in 70 AD.

That is a very strong statement, that no Jew believes the OT. So the Israelis risk life and limb over a Metaphor? I don't believe you.

The arguments for the Trinity (see wiki Trinity / Old Testament Parallels) in the OT are extremely weak. The Trinity is Father, Son, Holy Ghost (spirit) not three men, not two men, not wisdom , not two angels, ect. You even stated, "God has three components, that make up one being." Not three separate beings or two separate beings .
I'll agree that a messiah is mentioned in the OT in prophecy. Not in "bodily form" and not by the name Jesus Christ. I see that as further proof that the Flavian used the prophecy of a messiah to strengthen their propaganda and give it a basis.
